Who can take part
- You are between 12 and 78 years old (age range depends on donor match and transplant type).
- You have a blood cancer like acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia, mixed-phenotype leukemia, or high-risk/very high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).
- You are planning an allogeneic donor stem cell transplant (alloHCT), using an 8/8 or 7/8 donor match or a half-matched (haploidentical) relative donor.
- Your kidneys and heart and lungs meet study thresholds (based on blood tests and breathing/heart measurements).
- You have no prior donor stem cell transplant and no major plans that change the immune treatment plan (like donor lymphocyte infusion or T-cell–depleting medicine).
- You do not have certain infections, viral blood test results (HIV/HTLV/hepatitis B or C), pregnancy/breastfeeding, or uncontrolled autoimmune disease.
