  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have acute myeloid leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome in remission with less than 5% blasts in bone marrow.
  • You have a matched related or unrelated donor (8 out of 8 markers match).
  • Your heart, kidney, liver, and lung function are adequate (tests will be done to check).
  • You have not had a prior stem cell transplant from a donor.
