Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are currently critically ill and on a breathing machine (mechanical ventilation)
- You are expected to stay in the ICU for more than 3 days
- You are in the ICU after an operation (postoperative)
- Your overall health status is high risk (ASA class III or higher)
- You are not being kept alive only for comfort (no comfort care)
