Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older
- You fit one study group: atrial fibrillation, recent COVID-19, cancer, or suspected blood clot by ultrasound/CT or blood test
- If you have atrial fibrillation: you had (or will have soon) a TEE scan to check the heart’s left atrial appendage
- If you have atrial fibrillation: your blood thinner plan will stay the same unless the TEE changes it
- If you have recent COVID-19: you test positive by PCR within the last month and you are not on a breathing machine
- You can safely have a PET scan and lie comfortably in the scanner
