Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have hip symptoms that fit a labral tear (like catching, clicking, popping, or episodic hip pain, especially with sitting or hip movement)
  • Your symptoms are not caused by another hip problem such as infection, certain bone injuries, or low-back pain instead of hip pain
  • You can get and provide hip X-rays and an MRI (and/or MR arthrogram) showing a labral tear
  • You can understand the study and sign informed consent willingly
  • You are not pregnant, and you are able to participate in the study without needing pregnancy-related protection
