Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- You have Crohn’s disease and axial spondyloarthritis, or you have one condition and are being compared to the other group
- Your Crohn’s or axial spondyloarthritis diagnosis must be confirmed using standard medical tests (symptoms, blood tests, imaging, colonoscopy, and/or biopsy)
- You must be able and willing to sign informed consent freely (no forced participation)
- Avoid certain factors before the stool sample: no colon surgery history, no antibiotics or colonoscopy bowel prep within about 8 weeks, and no ostomy (stoma) during sampling
