Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older
- You have non-ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy (not caused by blocked heart arteries)
- Your left ventricle pumping strength is below 45% (ejection fraction)
- You take heart failure medicines at the highest dose you can tolerate (ACE inhibitor/ARB/ARNI or similar, plus a beta blocker)
- You can complete MRI scans and follow-up visits
- You can receive the MRI contrast medicine called gadolinium, and your kidney function is not severely reduced
