Who can take part

  • You have severe leg ischaemia (SLI) and are seen at the Leicester Vascular Institute
  • Your leg problem is caused by blocked/limited artery disease (PAOD)
  • You are not having an intervention before joining the study
  • You can consent (or have someone who can help when you can’t) and you have an English-speaking understanding
  • If you’re in the extra imaging part, you can safely have a cardiac MRI scan
