Compare two surgeries to lower ovarian cancer risk in BRCA1 carriers

Who can take part

  • You are age 35 to 50 (inclusive).
  • You are planning a risk-reducing surgery for BRCA1 (either remove ovaries and tubes, or remove tubes now and delay ovary removal).
  • You have a confirmed BRCA1 mutation from a lab test, documented for this study.
  • You have had recent pelvic imaging (ultrasound or MRI) and a blood CA-125 test within the last 180 days.
  • You must be medically able to undergo the planned surgery and give informed consent.
