Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of type 1 diabetes.
  • Your child is between 5 and 10 years old.
  • Your child is on insulin treatment.
  • Blood sugar control is good (HbA1c is 7.0% or lower).
  • Your child is still prepubertal (has not started puberty).
  • There are no other ongoing (chronic) diseases and no other known cause for nerve problems.
