- You have a confirmed diagnosis of type 1 diabetes.
- Your child is between 5 and 10 years old.
- Your child is on insulin treatment.
- Blood sugar control is good (HbA1c is 7.0% or lower).

- There are no other ongoing (chronic) diseases and no other known cause for nerve problems.
