Who can take part

  • Age 19 or older
  • You take long-term blood-thinning medicine for heart or blood-vessel conditions (like antiplatelets and/or oral anticoagulants)
  • You’re considered high risk for stomach/intestinal bleeding (for example: age 65+, prior GI bleeding or ulcers, Helicobacter pylori infection, or regular NSAID/steroid use)
  • You must be willing to sign the written consent form
  • You cannot currently be actively bleeding
