Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have non-ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy with heart pumping strength (ejection fraction) 45% or less
- You are on stable heart-failure medicines for at least 30 days (such as a beta blocker plus an ACE inhibitor/ARB/ARNI) or you cannot take one of them for a medical reason
- Your doctor thinks you can safely have a heart catheterization
- You agree to a DNA test
