Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You are scheduled for an elective spinal surgery that includes a planned opening in the dural lining
  • Your planned surgery site is clean and uninfected (no active infection or inflammation)
  • You can sign consent and agree to follow all follow-up visits and imaging tests
  • Your surgeon can bring the dural edges together using standard repair methods
