Who can take part
- You had a traumatic spinal cord injury within the last 24 hours and are still in the hospital.
- Your injury is between the C3 and T10 levels of your spine and causes some paralysis (AIS grade A, B, or C).
- Imaging shows your spinal cord is being squeezed (compressed).
- You'll have surgery to relieve that pressure within 24 hours of your injury.
- You are able to cooperate with neurological exams.
