Who can take part

  • Your brain bleed from an aneurysm (aneurysmal SAH) is confirmed by brain blood-vessel imaging
  • Your aneurysm has already been treated with a procedure: endovascular (inside blood vessel) or microsurgery (open operation)
  • You must be able to start the study medicine within 24 hours of symptom onset
  • Your current brain condition is in a certain range of severity (Hunt-Hess 4 or less)
  • Your baseline function before this bleed was independent (mRS 0–1) and you have consent from you or a legal representative
