Who can take part

  • You’re an adult (18 years or older) and can sign consent willingly
  • You have type 2 diabetes, and prior diet/exercise plus 2 diabetes medicines hasn’t met your blood sugar goals
  • Your recent HbA1c is between 7.5% and 10.5%, and your fasting blood sugar is over 100 mg/dL
  • Your weight measure (BMI) is over 19 and at or below 45
  • You are not pregnant, and you are not breastfeeding
