Who can take part

  • You have swallowing problems caused by a brain condition, such as after a stroke.
  • You are at least 14 years old.
  • If your swallowing trouble started after a stroke, it has been at least 6 months since the stroke.
  • You are willing to have swallowing tests, including X-ray and a scope test, before and after the injection.
  • You have not had Botox for any reason in the last 12 weeks.
  • You are not allergic to Botox or its ingredients.
