Who can take part
- Consent is available from your next of kin or legal representative
- Imaging shows a ruptured aneurysm causing subarachnoid hemorrhage (CTA or DSA)
- You are 18 or older, and have worsening consciousness (Hunt-Hess 3 to 5)
- You are on a breathing tube (intubated) and your GCS is 3 to 12 after stopping muscle-relaxing drugs
- Xenon treatment must start within 6 hours of symptom onset
- No known brain injury from trauma and no large brain bleed (over 2.5 cm)
