Who can take part

  • You are older than 18.
  • You had a confirmed aneurysm that bled in the brain (subarachnoid hemorrhage).
  • Your aneurysm is rated as Hunt-Hess grade II to IV (moderate to severe).
  • You have low carbon dioxide (CO2) in your blood (PaCO2 less than 35 mmHg).
  • Your oxygen level is normal (PaO2 over 90 mmHg).
