Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and can understand and sign the consent form
  • You have persistent swollen neck lymph nodes with a biopsy that shows cancer or is unclear, and doctors have not found the original tumor despite ENT checks
  • Your overall health is good enough for treatment (performance status less than 2)
  • You can have the planned surgery and related follow-up visits
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you could become pregnant you use effective birth control
  • You have no certain prior treatments or conditions (like past radiotherapy to the neck/face) and no distant spread of cancer
