Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old and have confirmed small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) from biopsy or cell testing.
- Your cancer is either limited stage (Stages I–III, no distant spread) or extensive stage (Stage IV, or certain heavy chest spread), and your doctors say it can be treated safely.
- You have finished the usual SCLC treatment first (typically 4–6 cycles of chemo, and possibly chest radiation and/or surgery) and your scans show no worsening within the last 28 days.
- Your brain MRI shows no brain metastases and no cancer spread into the lining around the brain (leptomeningeal disease) within the last 28 days.
- You can have the required imaging and tests: you must be well enough (ECOG 0–2) and have kidney function (creatinine clearance ≥ 30).
- If you could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and use reliable birth control during the study and for at least 30 days after the last radiation dose.
