Who can take part

  • You have symptoms of a fresh lung blood clot (pulmonary embolism) that started 14 days ago or less
  • Your heart strain test is high enough (RV/LV ratio 0.9 or more) on a CT angiogram or ultrasound (echocardiogram)
  • Your planned first treatment is the Indigo Aspiration System, done according to its instructions
  • You are 18 years or older and can give informed consent
  • You do not have reasons you cannot take blood thinners (anticoagulants) at treatment doses
