Who can take part
- You are currently being evaluated for an intestinal or multi-visceral transplant at the study hospital, or on the national transplant list
- You are 18 to 65 years old and can sign consent yourself
- You can reliably return for follow-up visits at the study site for about 48 months
- You do not currently have serious infection or unstable sickness (like sepsis)
- You are not known to have an immune system disorder (immunodeficiency) and you don’t have advanced cancer that has spread (except certain neuro-endocrine cases)
- You can follow the study plan (including medications and visits), and you have dependable support at home
