  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have normal thinking before surgery (MMSE score above 24 out of 30)
  • Speak Chinese Mandarin as your native language
  • Agree to join the study by signing informed consent
  • Have no delirium already before surgery (no active confusion episode)
