Testing CUE-101 schedules before treatment for HPV16 throat cancer

Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Who can take part

  • You have squamous cell cancer in the oropharynx, or a suspicious neck lymph node area where the source is thought to be the oropharynx (levels 2–3).
  • Your cancer is stage I–III, but specific early cases (T1N0 and T2N0) are not allowed.
  • Your doctor has decided you should get standard treatment: surgery with added therapy, or definitive chemoradiation.
  • Your tumor tests positive for HPV16, and a marker called p16 is positive (high level staining).
  • You have the HLA-A*02:01 blood marker, confirmed with a specific blood test.
  • You are age 18+, able to do normal daily activities fairly well (ECOG 0–1), and your blood/organ tests are within required limits.
