Who can take part

  • Your tumor tests negative for BRAF mutations (in tumor tissue and/or blood DNA), or you had BRAF-positive disease but did not respond to vemurafenib
  • Your cancer must have not responded to prior therapy or has come back/progressed (or involves a high-risk organ, or there are CNS changes on MRI)
  • You (and your guardian) can sign consent to take part, including consent for trametinib treatment
  • If you could become pregnant or cause pregnancy: you must use effective birth control during trametinib and for at least 1 year after stopping
  • You must be able to take part in the HISTIOGEN trial as well
