Who can take part
- Be at least 18 years old and be able to understand and sign consent
- Have symptoms or heart-test evidence that the blocked artery is limiting blood flow, and plan to have a heart procedure (PCI)
- Be willing to accept the study treatments and attend all follow-up visits
- Have a complete blockage (TIMI 0) that has been present about 3 months or longer, and the blockage is long (over 20 mm)
- The blockage must be in the right place for a certain stent size (about 2.25–4.0 mm) and have visible collateral blood flow
