  • You are 18 to 80 years old
  • You are scheduled for a minimally invasive lumbar spine procedure (specific types and levels)
  • You can understand the study and sign consent
  • You are not taking high daily opioid doses (more than 30mg morphine-equivalent per day)
  • You do not have an implanted pain device like an opioid pump or spinal cord stimulator
  • You are not allergic to bupivacaine, clonidine, or similar numbing medicines
