Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old
  • You have a long-term lung condition needing treatment, like COPD, asthma, or pulmonary fibrosis
  • You can understand the study and sign consent
  • You can safely have an MRI scan (for example, no incompatible pacemaker, and you can tolerate the scanner)
  • You have no major MRI contrast-safety issues (like severe kidney problems, a known gadolinium allergy, or very low kidney filtration)
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
