Who can take part
- Ages 12–25 and you have type 1 diabetes
- Using an automated insulin delivery system or a pump/insulin injections plus a continuous glucose monitor for over 6 months
- Your A1c (average blood sugar) is less than 11%
- No diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) or very high-sugar emergency illness (HHS) in the last 30 days
- Puberty has started (Tanner stage 2 or higher) and you meet the weight/BMI cutoffs (over 54 kg and above the 5th percentile BMI for age/sex)
