Kidney transplant with stem cell treatment to build immune tolerance

Who can take part

  • Be an adult (age 18 or older)
  • Have a matched sibling who can donate (a compatible match)
  • Have no reason you cannot safely receive thymoglobulin or total lymphoid irradiation (their planned medications/therapy)
  • Do not be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Do not have HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C infection
  • No history of previous (or current) cancer/malignancy
