Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older
  • Your overall health (performance status) must be 0 or 1, meaning you’re able to do most daily activities
  • You have up to 5 brain metastases from certain cancers (kidney cancer, sarcoma, melanoma, or some lung, breast, or GI cancers), confirmed by biopsy or surgery
  • The largest brain spots must be within about 10–25 mm, and the total treatment size must be limited (max cumulative volume 30 cm3)
  • You need normal blood counts and cannot have certain high-risk brain findings like bleeding metastases or cancer spread to the brain lining
  • You must be able to do brain MRI scans with contrast, use a mask during treatment, and agree to birth control if you can get pregnant
