Who can take part
- You’re between 18 and 80 years old (male or female).
- You have permanent vocal cord weakness (UVFP) with voice symptoms from poor cord closure.
- Your voice issues are significant—your clinician measures this with voice ratings (Grade 2 or higher) and a questionnaire score over 33 (VHI-30).
- You can understand the study, follow visit instructions, and sign informed consent for the full study period.
- You do not have certain voice-structure problems (like vocal cord polyps or nodules) or tumors in the throat/voice box.
- You can’t have certain related conditions or treatments recently, such as bilateral vocal cord paralysis, recent general-anesthesia surgery, or certain prior throat/voice procedures.
