Who can take part
- You have leg artery symptoms such as claudication or critical limb symptoms (Rutherford categories 2–6).
- Your blocked artery is in the native (original) common femoral artery, not a previously operated area.
- Imaging shows a moderately to very calcified blockage, and the narrowing is severe (about 70% or more).
- The blockage length and artery size fit the study limits (about 4–7 mm wide and up to 50 mm treated length).
- You are scheduled for Shockwave IVL first, then the usual added treatment (a drug-coated balloon, bare metal stent, or drug-eluting stent chosen by your doctor).
