  • You are between 35 and 65 years old
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 25 to 35
  • Your weight has been stable (no major change in the last 12 weeks)
  • You do not have diabetes
  • You do not have major organ disease or a history of weight-loss surgery like bariatric surgery or liposuction
  • Your recent screening labs and measurements are within limits (blood sugar, blood count, and blood pressure)
