Who can take part

  • You had a stroke recently involving the middle part of the brain (middle cerebral artery area).
  • The stroke caused weakness or trouble moving on one side of your body.
  • Your stroke can be either bleeding (hemorrhagic) or blockage (ischemic).
  • You are medically stable right now.
  • You can understand the study and give informed consent.
  • You do not have severe memory/thinking problems.
