Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You had an ischemic stroke (blocked blood vessel in the brain) or a transient ischemic attack (mini-stroke).
  • You are stable enough that your symptoms haven't gotten worse in the last 24 hours.
  • You can sit up, lie down, and roll onto your side with some help or on your own.
  • You do not have broken bones, a neck brace, recent spinal surgery, or a spinal cord injury that affects movement.
