Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have weakness on one side of your body (hemiparesis) from your first stroke or traumatic brain injury
  • Your brain injury happened less than one month ago
  • You do not have weakness on both sides of your body
  • You do not have major memory or thinking problems that would affect evaluations
  • You can safely have an MRI scan
