This study uses a comprehensive analysis platform to better understand ALS (and related conditions) and help find ways to “remedy and eliminate” it. If you have ALS or are a healthy control who can safely complete questionnaires and possibly an MRI, you may be able to contribute data that researchers use to improve care.

Who can take part
- You have ALS (or a related condition like ALS-FTD, PLS, or PMA) or, for some people, a known ALS mutation without symptoms
- You are an adult in your province (age of majority) and can legally consent
- You can understand the study and give informed consent on your own
- You can read and respond in English or French
- If you are a healthy control: you’re age 40–80 (or closely age-matched to an enrolled patient)
- You can safely complete MRI: no pacemaker/other MRI restrictions and not severely claustrophobic
