Who can take part

  • You have bipolar disorder and currently feel significant loss of pleasure
  • Your depression symptoms are mild (not severe or overwhelming)
  • You have not used drugs recently (alcohol or nicotine are allowed) and no current substance dependence
  • You do not have neurological problems like epilepsy, stroke, or traumatic brain injury
  • You don’t have a serious, life-threatening illness not related to mental health
  • You have no scalp/head metal or other reasons you cannot safely do tDCS
