It may help researchers better understand why some people develop cognitive (thinking) difficulties as heart failure progresses.

Who can take part
- You have heart failure that’s been stable for at least 6 months
- Your heart failure symptoms are mild to moderate (NYHA I to III), not worsening suddenly
- You agree to take part in tests: echocardiogram, neck and brain ultrasound (carotid and transcranial Doppler), and thinking tests (MMSE and MoCA)
- You do not already have a diagnosis of dementia, and your MMSE/MoCA scores are not very low (not under 10)
- You do not have recent stroke (within the last 3 months) or other major irreversible illness (like advanced cancer)
