Who can take part

  • You agree to take part and sign an informed consent form
  • You have health insurance coverage (or are a beneficiary)
  • You have a severe (about 70% or more) blockage or blockage in the internal carotid artery on the neck (either without symptoms or with symptoms)
  • On ultrasound, the side of your brain can be seen through the 'temple window,' and the middle brain artery (MCA) can be recorded on both sides
  • You are not pregnant and are not breastfeeding
