  • You are under 18 years old (and not born too early; at least 40 weeks corrected age)
  • You are currently in the PICU or CICU (intensive care for very sick patients)
  • In the last 3 days, at least two new organ problems have appeared after the sepsis started
  • There is a known or suspected infection that triggered the sepsis
  • Your weight is 3 kg or more
