Who can take part

  • You are willing to sign consent before any study procedures start
  • You live at home (outpatient) and can come for study visits
  • You have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder, currently without psychosis
  • You are age 18 to 65 and your depression score is moderate to severe (MADRS ≥ 20)
  • You have not started or increased any depression or other mood-changing medications in the last 4 weeks
  • You can follow the treatment schedule and pass the TI safety questionnaire
