Who can take part

  • You can come to appointments as an outpatient, and you can freely choose to join
  • You’re between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have a diagnosis of major depressive episode, with a depression score at least 18 on the HRSD-17 test
  • This current depression has not responded to enough antidepressant treatment or you couldn’t tolerate at least two antidepressants
  • You agree to keep your current depression medicines the same during the study
  • You can meet safety rules for both the brain stimulation and MRI scan
