At-home brain stimulation for Huntington’s behavior and thinking symptoms

This trial tests an at-home, noninvasive brain stimulation treatment to help with behavioral and cognitive (thinking) symptoms in people with Huntington’s disease. You and a caregiver work together during sessions and questionnaires to see if symptoms improve and stay stable.

Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed Huntington’s disease gene change, or a strong family history plus typical Huntington’s symptoms (like chorea)
  • Your Huntington’s stage is early (stage 1–2) or moderate (stage 3)
  • You have mild-to-moderate behavioral symptoms (no symptom rated as severe)
  • Your medications have been at the same stable doses for at least 1 month
  • A caregiver can be with you during the at-home sessions and help answer questionnaires
  • You do NOT have epilepsy, a recent suicide risk, or major thinking problems like dementia
