- You are a woman aged 18 or older.
- You have blockages in more than one heart artery or in the main left artery, and your doctors are unsure whether bypass surgery or stents is the better option.
- You have not had a major heart attack (ST-elevation MI) in the last 3 days.
- You have not had bypass surgery before, and you have not had a stent placed in the last year.
- You are not pregnant and do not plan to become pregnant for at least one year after starting the study.
