Who can take part

  • You have a strong blockage from your heart at rest or after a test (gradient over 50 mmHg)
  • You have a very thick heart septum (septal thickness at least 15 mm)
  • Your symptoms are at least moderate (New York Heart Association class II or higher)
  • Medication didn’t help enough, or you couldn’t tolerate it
  • You can sign consent after understanding what the study involves
