  • You have a type of thickened heart muscle disease that mainly affects the bottom tip of the heart (apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy)
  • You have already had heart surgery to reshape the left pumping chamber (left ventricular remodeling)
  • The pressure gradient across your heart's main valve must be less than 30 mmHg
