Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have a diagnosis of ALS
- You can come to the study clinic in Ljubljana for in-person visits about every 3 months
- You attend follow-up appointments at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana (Neurophysiology) about every 3 months
- Your other medical problems do not affect swallowing in a way unrelated to ALS
- You do not have significant memory/thinking decline or dementia at the start of the study
